EN 1149

BS EN1149 is a series of test methods and requirements issued by the European Standards Committee for uating the electrostatic performance of protective clothing.

BS EN1149-1 tests the majority of electrostatic dissipation behavior based on surface resistance, but it is not suitable for uating the entire garment.

BS EN1149-2 is the test material resistance method standard (loop resistance);

BS EN1149-3 is the standard for measuring charge decay methods;

BS EN1149-5 specifies the antistatic material properties and design requirements for protective clothing.

NFPA 1951

NFPA 1951, the standard for technical rescue accident protection suits, specifies requirements for three different types:

(1)Utility suit: Provides basic flame resistance and high levels of breathability to protect the wearer from physical hazards.

(2)Rescue and recovery suits: Based on utility suits, they provide a barrier against blood-borne pathogens to prevent the wearer from becoming infected by bodily fluids.

(3)CBRN Assemblies:provide limited protection against chemical, biological agents and radioactive particles during incidents involving chemical warfare agents or weapons of mass destruction.

NFPA 1999

NFPA 1999 is the standard for medical protective clothing formulated by the National Fire Protection Association of the United States, which is widely applicable to medical emergency. The standard requires low-level protection against blood and body fluids. Protective clothing is divided into categories such as face protection, protective clothing,disposable first aid gloves and first aid shoes.

According to different protective functions, protective clothing can be divided into healthy protective clothing (such as radiation protection clothing, cold protection clothing, heat insulation clothing and antibacterial clothing, etc.), safety protective clothing (such as flame-retardant clothing, arc protective clothing, anti-static clothing, Bullet-proof suits, stab-proof suits, space suits, diving suits, acid-proof suits, etc.) and hygienic work clothes (such as oil-proof and water-repellent suits, dust-proof suits, etc.).
